Electronic cigarettes have been around for many years now. Its safety, however, is still very controversial, since there is no medical study that supports its safety for long term use. Scientists can only conclude its safety after conducting a long term experiment on users, which is currently ongoing. The American Association of Public Health Physicians (AAPHP) on the other hand widely supports the use of electronic cigarettes to adults. They claim that even with the absence of laboratory proof of safety, it may possibly save lives of millions of adult smokers.

The basis for this claim has something to do with the fact that e-cigarettes only produce mist instead of smoke. The mist or the vapor is produce by heating instead of burning, which makes it safer as compared to the tobacco smoking. Tobacco smoke contains high amount of toxins which could possibly lead to lung related illnesses in the future. E-cigarette on the other hand is made only to help smokers quit their bad habit as it simulates the act of smoking tobacco.

The best electronic cigarette tastes like real tobacco cigars. They contain nicotine, which is the substance makes smoking very addictive to users. It produces smoke like vapor that allows users to still continue to get a drag, which is another addictive feature of tobacco smoke. So in conclusion, electronic cigarettes allow you to quit your bad habit while eliminating the harmful effects of cigarette smoking. Smokers may now start ceasing their habit without going cold turkey, which is the primary aim of e-cigarettes.

Now, whether it is safe to use or not, all you have to think about is the fact that you are already using something that proves to be very dangerous to your health, so why question the safety of e-cigarettes when apparently it contains lesser amount of carcinogen substances as compared to real tobacco.
